eNotary/Remote Notary
An eNotary is a Notary Public who is authorized to notarize documents electronically within their State. This secured method employed by eNotaries utilizes a digital signature and digital notary seal to notarize digital documents and validate with a digital certificate. Electronic notarization is a process whereby a notary affixes an electronic signature and notary seal using a secure public key to an electronic document (such as PDF or Word).
That's right... You can get the same professional notary services from the comfort of your home/office via a secure platform. All you have to do is use the "members" secure link to upload the document(s) in which you will need notarized. Each transaction should have a unique transaction number attached for recording purposes. This is available as a member.
An electronic register is kept for all electronic notary actions performed.
Mobile Notary
A Mobile Notary is a Notary Public who is mobile and travels to their clients to notarize signatures on documents, administer oaths and affirmations, certify copies of certain documents, and write affidavits, depositions, and protests. This service helps those that find themselves in a different state or city than where the notary needs to occur.
I provide services to individuals in the Houston, TX and surrounding areas; we occasionally travel to other major cities within the state of Texas. This service comes with a fee; the normal notary fee, plus an allowable/limited travel fee (which depends on distance).
Notary Signing Agent
A Notary Signing Agent is a Notary who has been trained and received certification to handle loan documents. Lenders and title companies hire Signing Agents as independent contractors to assist in the last steps of the loan process.
